AS WE GROW UP LIFE GETS HARDER ALL THE TIME.
FULL OF DRAMA SOME PEOPLE JUDGE YOU.
SOME PEOPLE PUT UP A FRONT LIKE A DIME.
SOME LAUGHT SOME CRY SOME DRINK
SOME SIT ON THEIR COUCHES THINKING
LIFE IS TOUGH BUT YOU LEARN SO MUCH
OTHER TRY AND BEGING TO LOSE HOPE ON EVERYTHING
ALL TOGETHER IN A BUNCH WE FALL IN LOVE
WITH ALL THE LIES AND FAKE EMOTIONS
ITS A DREAM THAT ISNT TRUE
LETTING THE WAATER RUN IN THE TIES.
FRIENDSHIP IS LOVE BUT SOMETIMES IS RUDE WEN WE TELL THE TRUTH
BUT AT THE END OF A HEARBREAK AND FIGHTS..
THERE ALWAYS THERE BY EACH OTHERS SIDE

Hey Royalty!
I'm excited to be reading your blog. Thanks so much for sharing!
There were a couple of lines in this poem that caught my attention. A few of those were:
"Life is tough but you learn so much" ... I wanted to read more about your experience of learning as you face hard times. What are those difficulties? How do you overcome them?
"Sometimes its rude when we tell the truth"...When is it hard for you to tell the truth? How do your friends respond?
You try to practice your creative writing skills by focusing this poem on one subject. It jumps from life to friendship to growing up to harship. These are all great topics for a poem, but it may be too many deep subjects to explore in such a short poem. Because your story is one of a kind, tell it the way it is: Different. Unique. Interesting. Think about what you want your audience to know about you, and tell your story with enthusiasm and with your own voice.
I've also got to admit that reading the poem in all caps was a bit distracting. Is there a reason why you chose to type the poem this way?
I hope you continue to push yourself in your writing. Keep writing and keep posting!
Peace,
Rachael
Hi! I think that sometimes life seems to get hard as you get older, but on the other hand, as you become more mature, you start to accept yourself for who you are and feel more and more comfortable in your own skin. In that sense, life gets easier.
